The Pros and Cons of entrepreneurship after high school

Too many students forget they can start a business right after high school.  If you have a good idea and are willing to work hard you can be your own boss.  Let’s look at the Pros and Cons of entrepreneurship after high school:

Pros:

• You do not necessarily need a business degree to start your own business – you need an idea and a plan
• You set your own hours
• You are your own boss

Cons:

• Starting a business is always a risk, and if you are going to fail, it is better to do it while you are young enough to recover from it fairly quickly
• You might need extra financial support to get started
• Plan to put in a ton of hours, but remember you are working toward your own goal
• You eat what you sell
